Create indirect lighting on your ceiling or wall easily, quickly, and cost-effectively with our profiles. The installation is optimally designed for drywall construction with 12.5mm plasterboard. They can be installed with filler (anodized profile) or exposed (anodized or white profile) without the need for painting.

Four innovative profiles for different application areas are available.

4100 | LED profile SF

Profile for wall-facing installation (shadow gap). With this profile, the light shines downwards, down the wall.

4110 | LED profile VT

Profile for ceiling-facing installation (cove) and strip lights up to 12mm wide. This profile directs the light upwards toward the ceiling.

4111 | LED profile VTL

Profile for ceiling-facing installation (cove) and strip lights up to 18mm wide. This profile directs the light upwards toward the ceiling.

4120 | LED profile VTL Twin

Profile for ceiling-facing installation (cove) and strip lights up to 12mm/18mm wide. With this profile, the light shines upwards toward the ceiling and/or against the substructure.

Our innovative LED drywall profiles are made of high-quality aluminum (AlMgSi0.5 F22) with wall thicknesses of up to 1.5 mm. This makes them highly rigid and easy to install on standard 12.5 mm thick plasterboard. The profiles have a standard length of 200 cm. Depending on the type, custom sizes over 200 cm are available for bulk orders from our partners.

The profiles are available in various finishes. Availability varies for each type:

• Raw aluminum

  Suitable only for filling and painting with ceiling paint (visible edges). Visible installation is not recommended due to gradual corrosion in the room air. This finish is only available as a special order for our partners.

• Anodizing E6/EV1 (10-12 µm)

  Suitable for filling, but also for visible installation if a silvery appearance is desired. The profiles can also be painted in the desired color without any extensive preparatory work.

• Powder coated similar to RAL 9003

  Suitable for visible installation only and not for filling. Fillers and paints do not adhere to the surface.

Notes

The distances from the wall can be varied as desired. This makes ceiling panels just as feasible as wall projections or enclosures on the sides of the room.

However, the opening for the light outlet should be at least 5 cm so that too much of the luminosity is not lost and the effect of indirect lighting is fully appreciated.

Likewise, the structure should be closed—as shown in the graphic—so that the substructure is not visible. We recommend painting the cladding with the same wall paint before installing the profile.

Please be sure to follow our  installation instructions . Aluminum expands when heated, and installation errors can lead to unsightly cracks.

Indirect lighting creates a grazing light. This makes unevenness on the ceiling or wall clearly visible. We recommend at least Q3, but Q4 is preferable.
